Hey there everyone, haven't posted in 5 months so I thought of starting anew, since I have nothing much to do anyways.

I changed my blogskin entirely...I think it fits me nicely since I am currently into the country music scene. The new song is by my current favourite artist (yes, even more than Westlife! Hard to believe right?) GEORGE STRAIT!!!

Now is the FYP period for me....This week is all about research, so I'm constantly on my PC, reading science papers which I can guarantee is exactly what it looks like; DROP DEAD BORING!

However I am enjoying this new lease of life, having ample time for play while still having something to do when the playing suddenly isn't very fun anymore.

Next week is the start of the experiments and that's when I need to come to school and get my hands dirty! Can't wait, starting to get bored at home!

Yeah! I'll be getting my results on Friday...I think I did quite well for the exams, even though some papers were slightly tougher than the others (CCTA!).

It IS the toughest semester so far, have no doubts about it, but I think I handled it quite comfortably in the end..
I don't expect too much from Social Psychology, for which to be honest, I downright sucked.....

Went to the IT show on Sunday......How was it, you said?!
HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never been in such a confined space before....The place was literally packed like sardines! (well not that THAT literally, since I'm human and not a mackerel fish)

There were even human traffic jams in the exhibition halls and everyone was shoving each other to get to different booths while having to wade through huge piles of papers strewn on the floor....

Don't get me wrong, I knew what I was facing before I went there, but what I faced, totally threw me off my mental balance (is that real phrase? mental balance? huh!?!?)

However out of that torrid experience (which isn't helped by the equally mind blowingly hard to find parking spaces), I got myself a 320GB external hard disk for $88 and an iPod touch 32GB for $468.

What's that? So much money, you said? Well. I did get more than $3000 on bursaries and scholarships last year and another confirmed $2000 coming next year, and I haven't spent it on anything yet, so why not?

I do love my iPod touch..Love the apps that I could download for free and the fast web surfing capabilities of it. Audio quality and video format compatibility range doesn't match the ambitions of the it's web capabilities, but it's still better than your average mp3 player...

I do recommend the iPod touch over the iPhone as it's almost exactly the same, except for the iPhone having a camera and messaging and calling capabilities.. However, the iPhone is much more expensive..
The last time I checked, a 8GB iPod touch sets you at $308 while the iPhone 3GS 8GB is priced at $710...Pretty darn expensive for a camera and some extra communication capabilities....

That all I have for you folks! Till next time...And oh yeah feel free to leave comments
