Alright, alright... I haven't written anything for some time
I'm not very busy, but I just don't feel like it.
No one reads this crap anyway, so who cares?
So what happened?
I changed class. My class was split into 6 parts and forcibly placed into the 5 other classes. In the beginning, it just pissed me off. Now, it's cool. my new class is quite the interesting bunch of people. They didn't treat us like outcasts which we obviously are and that's nice. Anyway, I still hang out with my old classmates so it doesn't really matter either way
Alright, the new semester.
Very boring.
Seriously.
All 4 modules have to do with either proteins or DNA and there's lots of Chemistry and calculations involved. This isn't what I signed up for!!!
And not to mention, my Interdisciplinary module I&E(Environment) is gay.
We have to do community service-like work for a pass/fail module? Again... not what I signed up for
There's still hope though...Next semester will be so much more better,at least the modules we are taking...So I'll have just to suffer through this 6 months of torture.
I just joined a CCA for the first time...SHOOTING!!
Not real gun though (duh!!) , it's air rifles and air pistols...
It's gonna be fun!!!
And yeah!! I just got 2 module prizes... Biostatistics and Cell Biology..which means I got top marks for these modules among my cohort!!
Seriously, it's not an easy award to get...These people are seriously very very smart..
That fact is not surprising coming from a course which has a cut-off point of 9 ( the tied-lowest in Singapore)
So, getting this award assured myself that I was'nt, simply put, "a big fish in a small pond" which I thought I was..I could stand toe to toe with the big boys (though not the biggest)
And because of that, I'm proud of myself and thank God for it..
I am quite surprised for getting the award, because
1) I slacked more in the second semester ( a lot more)
2) I screwed up my Cell Biology exam due to time management..I had only 15 minutes to do a 30 mark question
3) Again, these people are seriously freaking smart
So I hope to get awards like these again..It made me and my parents proud..And the $100 reward isn't too shabby either
I promise to update more now..
And my classmates from 2MO1 or 2MO3 (I don't even know my class number until now...Can you believe that?) if you happen to read this blog and have one too, drop me a message and I'll happily link ya...
