If there is one word to describe my school orientation is:ordinary.Prior to the actual day,I was absurd enough to think it would be anything but ordinary.I was a little excited in the days leading to the orientation.That is largely due to the fact that I have not experienced school life for so long...So I was excited to see my future classmates and campus..So I was expeciting a fun day at the orientation.Instead,it was just a normal orientation.And orientations are'nt supposed to be fun.

Anyway,I woke up at 7am and got ready.I exited my house at 7.45am.I took a MRT ride to Bukit Batok MRT station which took around 20 minutes.Then I alighted and took bus number 61.It took about 15 minutes.All in all,I took 1 hour to reach there.

When I reached the school,I was worried that I couldn't navigate to the lecture theatre properly.But thankfully there were students dressed in yellow(which I later found out were the camp leaders)standing at various points that literally points to the direction I need to go..

After registration,I entered the lecture theatre.It was rather large in there and the temperature is just right..I noticed there were a lot of people there.All the students there were from the Life Science and Chemical Technology department,which consists of 5 courses.So it is understantable that there are so many people there.I noticed that only about 1/3 of the student brought their camping gear with them..Those were the people who were going to the Freshman Orientation Camp(which I did'nt go to)...That is.nt alot..I guess the assumption that Science students were'nt supportive and outgoing are true

Anyway I sat alone.Most people there had a friend and I didn't(sob..sob..lol)...The orientation then began and the person introduced the staff then showed a pretty interesting video about lab safety.Then a student took over and talked about student life in the school....Then after that some GLs(Group Leaders..basically they are like camp leaders)took batches of us to tour around our campus,especially our Life Science block..Well,the Life Science block was..a bit depressing..haha..only the exterior though..Also the nearest canteen was one at the neighbouring SIM which they said had great food...

During the tour I had multiple time I got struck with Deja Vu..It was like Sceondary School all over again..And the GLs were quite annoying..They will ask us if we are okay like every 3 minutes..Like what do you expect?It's not like we're crossing the Sahara Desert for God's sake..It's only a relatively short walk...

After the tour,they offered free lunch..I did'nt eat though as there were loads of people queing up.I figured it is best I try some of the food in the school.I tried Nasi Briyani at the canteen..It was very tasty.....Then after which, I went home...

Anyway I just changed my blog skin..Hope you like it..Cos I sure do...I spent almost 2 hours modifying it..It my first time doing this you see.....

The new song is Get Away by Westlife.It is a B Side from the Us Against the world album.I like this song..It has greatt vocals..And honestly their singing is getting better and better
