Hey everyone.Excited for the start of your pre-university education?..Well I sure am a little(not too much though..as there is still the laziness of waking up in the morning)..Well nothing much has been happening to me..I actually did some quite interesting things these past few weeks..I actually went to the Choa Chu Kang stadium to watch an S League match..It was free to students so I got in free.It was a match against SAFFC(i support them..not so much as a diehard fan though)and Woodlands Wellington.It was my first time watching a professional football match.When I arrived there,I was very surprised that the stadium was actually 3/4 full.I thought no one goes to watch these matches!!Anyway the match was quite exciting..Though not in the same vein as EPL standards,(the aston villa vs Man Utd match recently was really exciting),the gulf of difference between the two sides really made this an open game...The final score was 3-0 with goals scored by Aleksander Duric,Saiful Isa and Ashrin Shariff...It was quite weird though watching matches live..I'll tell you why...When a goal is scored or whether a penalty appeal is not given,I would automatically want to see a replay,which I then realized that I couldn'nt.And the absence of commentary is strange as well...Anyway,if any soccer nut in Singapore wants to see some live action,watching S League matches is'nt too bad at all...But make sure the teams are of class...And it's free for students too...
Anyway tommorrow I'm going to my new school(Ngee Ann Poly) for my orientation briefing which lasts around three hours.I'm skipping the camp for a couple of reason...Don't get me wrong..I love camps and the outdoors..But this one is'nt exactly the outdoors...Anyway now I'm quite worried that I may not be able to cope with the hectic travelling time which is about 45 minutes(if the traffic is smooth)..I could either take 2 buses,the MRT then a bus or ride on the free shuttle bus service from Woodlands Interchange..But the shuttle bus service is only from 7 to 8.30am...so if my class is in the afternoon I could'nt use the shuttle bus..The Nanyang Poly students should count themselves lucky..Only a couple of stops and they're there..sigh
Anyway the new song is Get Away by who else?Westlife..It is a B-Side from Us Against The World..It is a fast paces song and the lads' voices are great in this one..HOnestly,they are getting better at singing
