Yesterday I went with my parents to school to buy my very own laptop.The brands offered in my school are Fujitsu,Acer,Lenovo and Sapura.It's obvious then which one I choose right?I chose the most reliable and established one,Fujitsu(honestly,Lenovo and Sapura??who ever heard of them??)Anyway,the laptop is quite heavy.It's 2.26kg...The lighter laptop comes at 1.7kg..However,eventhough both laptops' capabilities are the same,the lighter one costs $400 more!!!...So thats why I bought the heavier one...And by buying this laptop,it is the 6th PC in my family!!LOL..I don't know why we have so many..
So the day I bought it,I actually went to Geylang serai market with my parents first..It is I think only the 4th or 5th time I've been there...Its okay,as it's only a temporary one as the original is being renovated..After which I went to school to get some scholarship forms setteld(it took a long time..like really)After that I went to the convention centre to buy my laptop..Then thats it
Today I did a different thing..I went to school again to install some softwares that are specific to my course..Luckily though,my course only requires me to install 1 software so thats really fast compared to the others,who had to do it for at least 3 hours...I needed only 15 minutes to complete it..All in all,I'm quite satisfied with my laptop(it being a little lighter won't hurt though)..It did burn a large hole in my pocket..You see in my family,everything you want to buy you need to use your own saved money..From handphones,consoles,even handphone bills..Which is'nt a bad thing..I think it is a good thing so that I value the items I bought and have to work for my own things and learn the value of the hard earned dollar...Having said that,the $1800 i paid for my laptop still did hurt my bank balance..Hope I get the $2000 dollar a year scholarship from Mendaki so that it covers all the expenses....Thats all for now bye
