Here it is...To me the most anticipated album of the year and to all Westlife fans as well..The question is does it live up to the expectations as promised by the lads themselves as the best album yet?The answer is yes..This is the BEST Westlife album yet...The album clinching the top spot in the UK album charts is a testament to my brave statement

However not all people think so..Most professional writers do not fancy the album..It has become a norm for reviewers to critisize Westlife albums for the sake of doing it..Maybe they did'nt even hear the album??Examples include

I'll go track by track in this review..

Home
The song is the first single of the album and it had limited success.Debuting at number 3 in the UK charts,it became the fourth single by Westlife not debuting at Number 1 in the UK singles chart in their career spanning a decade...The song is a cover by popular Jazz singer Michael Buble.The harmonies are wonderful and the vocals top-notch.However Home being a popular song,comparisons are definitely there with the original.Good,but lacks originality(7.5/10)

Us Against The World

This is one of my favourites in the album.A classic ballad with a Westlife signature stamp written all over it.Mark and Shane's vocals shine through in this song.Wonderful lyrics(though a little cliche) and great tempo especially in the chorus.Takes a few listens to really like it.(10/10)

Something Right(Blog song 2)

Unlike the first two songs,Something Right is a up tempo song.The start of the song signals another ballad.However,once the chorus kicks in,you'll realize that this isn't a ballad.Being an up tempo song,it doesn't really showcase the lads' voices.The chorus is very catchy with piano masterfully played in the background.Fantastic(9/10)

I'm Already There
Originally sung by country band Lonestar,who brought the song to Number 1 in the country charts.I'm Already There has beautiful lyrics.The song revolves around a man who misses his family while travelling,what not with the lyrics that go:

He called her on the road

From a lonely cold hotel room Just to hear her say: 'I love you' One more time

And when he heard the sound Of the kids laughing in the background He had to wipe away a tear from his eye

A little voice came on the phone Said daddy when are you coming home

He said the first thing that came to his mind

I'm already there Take a look around

I'm the sunshine in your hair

I'm the shadow on the ground I'm the whisper in the wind
I'm your imaginary friend

And I know That I'm in your prayers

Ooh I'm already there

I've heard the original and I think it's better.Mark's voice does'nt suit the song,especially in the awful second verse.However the boys' emotions really shine through and the chorus is beautifully sung(6/10)

When I'm With You(The other blog song)

This song is an original song.For the first time,Westlife sings sort of an R&B song an I think they pulled it of brilliantly.The chorus sang by Mark is fantastic and the beat is infectious.One of my favourites in the album.The emotions of the song could be felt and the lyrics are beautiful as well(10/10)

Have You Ever
A cover of Brandy's smash hit back in 1999.The song is picked to showcase Westlife's totally underrated harmonies.And the chorus is wonderfully sung with impeccable harmony.Mark's voice in the song is absolutely brilliant,the best I've heard from him so far,especially in the second verse.Nice lyrics too.(9/10)

It's You

it's you is an original song that has no chorus.Verse after verse after verse.It is nice,with Shane's warm vocals taking up the majority of the song.His voice suitas the slow song beautifully.The lyrics are great and like Us Against The World,takes a few listens to really love the song(8.5/10)

Catch My Breath
With electronic beats playing in the background,this song is'nt typical Westlife.However,venturing into something new,the lads pulled it off,with the catchy chorus.I got to say though,Shane sholud have just sang the whole song(9/10)

The Easy Way
This Motown inspire song is one of my favourites in the album.It has a very fast tempo with a very catchy chorus.The song is the sort that just makes you want to get up and dance.The harmony in the chorus is wonderful and though the chorus consists of repeating a few lines(9.5/10)

I Do
This song is essentially a wedding song.Everything,from the lyrics to the melody suits a wedding to a T.Mark's voice in this ballad is one of the times where it is better than Shane's.Like all slow songs,it takes a few listens to really get into the groove.I recommend this song to be played i Weddings.Beautiful lyrics too.(8/10)

Pictures In My Head(Blog Song)
Another song with electric beats with the background.Once the song starts,you'll go,"alright another Westlife song".But once the chorus plays,you'll crank up the volume and go,"Yeah!!".The chorus is absolutely wonderful.The voices shine through and lyrics are good too(10/10)

You Must Have Had A Broken Heart
Another ballad by Westlife.This song has a very good chorus and wonderful lyrics.Somehow it is reminiscent of Flying Without Wings.Mark's voice is beautiful in this one(9/10)
